New Nail Technician

Boilerhouse has a new nail technician, Leanne, starting on Tuesday. She'll be taking up residency upstairs in Boilerhouse and will be offering a range of nail services as well as eyebrow shaping services. Keep an eye out for the full list of services available and prices, coming soon!

Snow and poor weather

Boilerhouse is advising clients to ring up the salon after 9.30am on the day of their appointment prior to setting out to check that their stylist is able to make it into the salon that day. Some of Boilerhouse's stylists travel from further afield, and have been affected by the bad weather conditions this past week. It would also be much appreciated if you could ring in to cancel any appointment you may have should you not be able to make it into the salon. Thanks, and try to enjoy the snow!

Looking towards the new year...

Just a quick note to let you know that Boilerhouse will, once again, be opening on Mondays in the new year, giving you even more of a choice of appointments, with the salon open from Monday right through to Saturday.

Festive Boilerhouse

Please note, Boilerhouse will close for the festive season after the 12.30pm appointments on Christmas Eve, and will re-open at 9.30am on Tuesday 4th January. Be sure to book in early for your pre-Christmas appointment. Our guys and girls will be working various late nights and extra appointments in the run up to Christmas to ensure all clients are well and truly preened for the years festivities.

Did you know...

... that Boilerhouse actually houses 18 work stations?!

Many of our new customers are surprised to discover that Boilerhouse extends up the stairs and out to the sides! On street level, Boilerhouse offers a reception area and 4 work stations, but upstairs holds more surprises, with 14 further work stations, a designated colour area and a separate basin room. If you haven't already, come and explore the world of Boilerhouse for yourself sometime soon!

Model Wednesdays

Are you in need of a hair cut, colour or general restyle on a budget? Then Boilerhouse needs YOU to be a training model!

Kim, Boilerhouse's teacher, in-house assessor, and all round leading lady, heads a team of juniors eager to learn and further their hairdressing skills. The juniors all receive full in-house training to bring them up to the high standards Boilerhouse is renowned for, and models are, of course, vital in the success of this training programme. Training currently runs from 9.30am to around 5pm every Wednesday. Call the salon or pop in to discuss your needs and we'll pair you up with the right junior for you!

Our recently installed Rijo42 (so called because every shot of espresso uses 42 freshly ground coffee beans) coffee machine offers a range of coffees including lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, mocchachinos and wonderfully creamy hot chocolates - perfect for the chilly winter days ahead.

Parking around Boilerhouse

Many of our clients are perplexed, as are we quite often, as to how the parking works in the streets around the salon. This handy little leaflet explains the schemes in place, and should help you understand where and when you can park in particular zones without being stung for a pesky parking ticket.

The pitter patter of tiny feet...

Boilerhouse is proud to announce that both Nikki and Gabi have each welcomed a gorgeous new daughter into their lives. Both Nikki's daughter Millie and Gabi's daughter Lola are doing just fine.

As for the mums...

After having worked Saturdays in October, Gabi is now back to working a 4 day week (Wednesday to Saturday), and it's great to have her back in the team! Call now to book in for a super duper Christmas colour with her.

Nikki loves her new role of motherhood so much that she's decided to hang her scissors up for the time being, and Boilerhouse wishes her the best of luck in the future, and a great time raising Millie.

Boilerhouse is proud to welcome Saskia and Ruby on board. The lucky pair will play a vital role in the Boilerhouse family and will receive comprehensive training in all things hair and Boilerhouse.
